As part of the BIOMGT project financed by the Walloon Region and the European Union's structural funds, Anatis and its partners Mitis and Biogaz du Haut-Geer are developing a pilot unit. The pilot unit is a biomethanisation system installed on a farm in Durbuy (Belgium) incorporating ANATIS technologies and coupled to a co-generation micro-turbine developed by MITIS. The micro-turbine control unit monitors and operates all the ANATIS systems, including pumps, sensors, etc. The heat produced by co-generation is used directly to heat the Anyole d'Anatis anaerodigestors (ensuring bacterial action) and the farm building, while the electricity is used by the farm or fed into the grid.
